Make your hydrogen, LNG and CNG equipment ready for Europe.
Get a readiness assessmentWhy NEXOS
NEXOS is Latin nexus: a bond, a tie. We sit on your side of the table.
A Declaration of Conformity proves your product was built right. It does not decide whether a European customer will buy it and put it into service for the next ten years.
What stands between the two is everything the stamp does not cover. We call it “European readiness”: a complete data book, documentation written to the standards the customer works to, and the gaps in between identified while they can still be closed.
Because acceptance is not a single document. It is the handover pack the customer signs off on. Until he does, the last milestone stays open, with everything that follows from it. You want to be ahead of that.
NEXOS reads your product the way that customer will read it, and tells you what he will find first. Then we do the work. Documentation, factory acceptance or site handover. We can take on any part of it, or all of it.
With ten years in alternative fuels and taking care of the operational management of 30+ stations, now it’s the time NEXOS helps manufacturers gain a foothold in Europe.
What we do
See the full scope
European representation
NEXOS is your accountable presence on the ground: one European counterpart for customers, operators and authorities, and one direct line back to you.

Documentation readiness
We assess your documentation against what a European operator will actually require, and close the gaps early. A correction happens in your factory. A condition holds up the handover.

Certification, managed
PED, TPED and ATEX coordinated through European notified bodies. We manage the process end to end, prepare what the notified body needs and answer their questions directly. Your team stays on the build.

Common questions
What NEXOS is, and is not.
What does NEXOS do that a notified body does not?
A notified body issues the certificate, the gate everyone sells. NEXOS closes the one after it: the documentation, spare parts and site acceptance no directive covers, and the European point of contact once your equipment is in the field.
Is NEXOS a consultant?
No. NEXOS is led by an operator who spent eight years on the European side of hydrogen, LNG and CNG refuelling stations, accepting equipment into service, not advising from a consultancy desk.
Do you sell or install equipment?
No. NEXOS does not distribute, resell or take commission on your sales, and holds no formal Authorised Representative role. We do witness factory acceptance, support site acceptance and commissioning, and can step in for a scoped on-site intervention as your representative if equipment is already stuck in the field. We represent no competing manufacturers.
What does an engagement look like?
You submit your product and its documentation under a signed NDA. We return a readiness assessment: every gap between your file and a European sign-off, and what it costs to close it. One total price covers the work that follows. No open-ended retainer to begin, and no commitment beyond the work in front of you.
Which equipment and directives do you cover?
Hydrogen, LNG and CNG equipment and components: CE marking, the Pressure Equipment Directive, TPED for transportable equipment, and ATEX where an explosive atmosphere is in play, coordinated through accredited European notified bodies.
Who owns the documentation you create?
You do. Your documentation, drawings and know-how remain your property. We make them European-ready and take no rights in them.
How do we start?
Submit your product for a readiness assessment. It is the single step we ask for, and it tells you exactly what stands between this product and a European sign-off, before you commit anything further.
